Capacitación para dueños de librerías
La escuela de libreros lanzó en el año 2009 un taller de actualización profesional para libreros. En las palabras del director nacional de Industrias Culturales, Rodolfo Hamawi, «esta iniciativa viene a cubrir un espacio de formación del librero tradicional, como guía y formador de lectores». Las clases duran un cuatrimestre, y se dictan materias como: Historia general de la cultura, Historia general de la producción bibliográfica, Gestión de la librería, Economía y administración de las librerías, Clasificación y catalogación de libros, Composición de las librerías especializadas y Últimas tecnologías en la industria del libro. Estos talleres no solo apuntan a la formación del librero para responder a las inquietudes literarias de los clientes sino que también cubre la faceta comercial que también demanda el trabajo del dueño de librería. 
El proyecto se extendería a otras provincias, comenzando con Córdoba, que ya tiene un acuerdo firmado para que funcione el programa en esta provincia también. A continuación se buscará que se desarrollen los cursos en la ciudad de Rosario también.
